Piedmont Members and Families,
 

We are honored and delighted to be your hosts for the 73rd Annual Piedmont Orthopedic Society meeting at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida, May 6-10, 2026. The Ocean Reef Club is a special location, and this will the fourth time The Piedmont Society has been hosted at this amazing, family-friendly property. We anticipate a great turnout and a schedule packed with opportunities for learning and fun.

This year’s Guest of Honor will be Dr. Tom Loeb. We look forward to welcoming Dr. Loeb and his family to Ocean Reef to celebrate his many accomplishments and contributions to the Piedmont Orthopedic Society.

As always, the meeting includes robust academic and social programs:

Academic Program
– Presentations by Duke faculty, alumni, and current residents
– Specialty seminars and discussions
– Duke Orthopedics updates
– Piedmont Orthopedic Society business

Social Program
– Welcome cocktail reception on the beach (Wednesday evening)
– Oceanside cocktails/dinner/live music (Thursday evening)
– Calypso-style cocktails/dinner/live music (Friday evening)
– Formal dinner/awards/dancing (Saturday evening)
– Daily breakfast buffet
– Beach/pool/spa/fitness center access for registered guests
– Sports/Activities*: Golf, tennis, pickleball, croquet, fishing
– Kids Club activities*
– Eco Tours, Kayaking, Paddle Boarding*
– Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament*
– Mahjong*

*Activities sign-ups will be sent to meeting registrants at a later date.

Details on transportation from Miami International Airport will be sent at a later date. The options include car rentals through the private Enterprise branch located at the club and reserved chauffer services that are easy to arrange for small or larger groups.
 
As soon as you have reserved your room, please complete the online meeting registration.
Please note the Registration Deadlines: March 18 (Early Bird) and April 1 (Regular). In addition to registering for the meeting, you will be asked to pay your 2025 Piedmont Orthopedic Society dues, if you have not done so already. Information on meeting activities and sign ups will be sent to those who have registered/paid for the meeting.
